Unexpected shutdown immunity

Post by pinisberro » 2015/12/03 05:01:49

Hello everyone,

We have a system with centOS working in an embedded environment where sudden shut dows can happen without any way to do a normal os shut down procedure.

Many times after those shut down we are experiencing problems with the file system and application wont start as expected.

I know that in windows embedded for examle there is a mechnizem to lock the flash memory which gives the system immunity to power failure issues.

Is there a way to so so on CentOS 5?

Your help will be highly appreciated
