RMS software with linux support?

Post by tayjor1985 » 2016/05/09 04:18:15

Hi Guys!! I am looking for a good RMS software for my book shop. Can anyone suggest me a good, not too expensive software that is compatible with linux? I would love to get a full version demo or trial version with full features to try before making a final decision. I searched on internet and could not a lot of them with features I was looking for. I found one at multiflexrms.com by Microhouse Systems. I tried their demo version and looks good, would love if someone actually used it’s full version could share their experience. Has anybody used it and found it good? Or can anyone suggest another option? Any advice will be great.

One bit of gentle advice: readers of these fora work in a wide variety of industries. "RMS" could refer to many things: Record Management Services (for the old 'uns), Record Management System or Rights Management Services for starters. I'll be honest: Retail Management Software would never have occurred to me. Please, always expand Three Letter Abbreviations (TLAs) in full first time to save everybody's time.

Perhaps a better idea would be list your requirements.
Something along the lines of, the software must do A, can B, many do C and cost less than $1 etc...
