Ethernet card net detected in Toshiba satellite c640

Hello Everyone,

I have installed centos 5.5 on my laptop. I have a problem regarding the Lan card. It is not detected. But my WIFI is detected and works fine. Could any one give suggestion on this...? I have tried a lot with many sites but could not resolve it. This problem is only with linux and not with windows, but i never want to use windows. Kindly give me ur suggestions.

Well it is probably a driver issue :-)

Since your wifi works, do a yum update to 5.8 and see if that
fixes the ethernet issue.

If it doesn't, I can't help you :-)
