Centos is not booting after reboot with Sangoma Card

Post by archana » 2014/04/04 07:02:58

Hi,

After inserting Sangoma Card on CentOS 5.9 and Power failure has been occured so I booted the CentOS but I am getting following error after waiting for Driver Initialization :(

"end_request : I/O error, dev hda,sector 4537685
hda : dma_intr : status =0x51 {DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
hda :dma_intr:error=0x40 {UncorrectableError }, LBAsect=4537708,high=0,low=453708, sector=4537693
ide: failed opcode was : unknown
end_request : I/O error, dev hda,sector 453793
....
...
...

switchroo:mount failed: No such file or Directory
Kernel panic - not syncing : Attemp to kill Init.

Please suggest me the solution and the Cause is either Hard Disk has been crashed or my CentOS Operating System has been crashed. :?

That looks very much like your hard disk is having problems. Get a new hard disk.

hda :dma_intr:error=0x40 {UncorrectableError }, LBAsect=4537708,high=0,low=453708, sector=4537693
This is a *hardware* error.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
