CentOS 5.11 support INTEL Broadwell CPU (E5-26xx v4 CPU)

Does anyone know if CentOS 5.11 support INTEL Broadwell CPU (E5-26xx v4 CPU)?

It's not officially supported and nor is it likely to be since CentOS 5 (and RHEL5) are in their sunset years. Support for them expires next March and el5 is in "Production Phase 3" which means no new features and/or hardware support. That's approximately 9 months until there are no new security patches etc. Far better to install a version with a longer lifespan - CentOS 6 goes EOL in 2020 and CentOS 7 in 2024.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
