Windows 7 or greater - Can't login to server

Post by tseaman » 2016/04/18 21:23:19

I am running Centos 5. I have several PC's in the office running Xp, 7 and 10. PC's that are running Windows 7 or greater prompt for a User name and Password when trying to access the server. The shares show up on the windows pc's but to no avail can I jump onto the server. If I enter a known unix user and password I receive an unknown user prompt. I feel like the Windows enviroment is creating this problem. Please note: I can access the server from any PC running WINSCP with standard unix user names and passwords that are on the Centos system. Any help would be appreciated.
