rsync daemon script

The RSYNC in CentOS is started by xinetd, but this would make the server loading for each connection. Is there a daemon script I could find and install ?

Besides, why does CentOS build rsync in the way of xinetd, when vsftpd is standalone daemon? I know that standalone daemon has faster when a new connection established.
