avahi-daemon error.

Hello Everyone,
I have a Centos 5 server running the BIND server. I was looking into the system logs and the following lines show:
Sep 6 09:00:43 localhost avahi-daemon[2638]: server.c: Packet too short or invalid while reading response record. (Maybe an UTF8 problem?)
Sep 6 09:33:38 localhost avahi-daemon[2638]: server.c: Packet too short or invalid while reading known answer record. (Maybe an UTF8 problem?)
I know is the avahi daemon but i wanna know if i can stop that daemon without cause any problem to the DNS server.
