Leap Second Affect my Server CentOS?

Post by Gradocero » 2015/05/29 14:56:12

hi, I am using the CentOS as a server, the version is 5.4

I wonder if the leap second which is scheduled for June or services may affect the operation of the operating system.

I await your prompt reply and thank you for your help.

You may run into this bug if you are running ntpd with the -x option.

You should run yum update to update your system in any case. 5.4 is more than five years old, and there are tons of important security fixes that you are missing.
