IPTables stops responding

Post by janus2578 » 2010/05/12 13:40:33

Or at least it appears to. I have a new load of CentOS 5.4 and I'm using Firewall Builder 4 to write my firewall rules. Atfter a while I can no longer access anything through the firewall unless I restart iptables. Has anyone encountered that symptom?

Have not seen any reports of such a problem. More information about the system as explained above may be helpful.

This is running as a VM running CentOS 5.4. Originally I only gave it half a gig of memory. I've since bumped that up to 1 GB thinking it might be a resources issue. So far so good.

If it stays up then that is probably what was wrong. I'll let you know later.
