Hi,
We have two systems running CentOS5.3 and 5.8 respectively, the one with CentOS5.3 has better performance than the one with CentOS5.8.
I have verified that the kernel parameters in /etc/sysctl.conf and /etc/security/limits.conf are identical.
The machines are identical with respect to CPU and memory.
Can someone help guide me as to where I should look next?
Thanks in advance......
Same settings on Centos 5.3 and 5.8 but difference in Oracle performance

Don't know if this makes a difference but they are both VM's on VMware
