Combining Command line parameters in the background

Post by fsantiago07044 » 2014/04/30 18:39:11

How can I do or make work something like this:

tail -f logfile | grep terms > localfile.txt

and then run it in the background after I've started it manually from the CLI?

It isn't a compressed file.
That website just has all its html gzipped.
