CentOS/Scientific Linux

Post by centy » 2014/09/28 08:11:16

Hi,

I've just signed up, so this is my first post here. I've been having problems installing (well just booting) Scientific Linux 6.2 but the issue does not seem to be SL specific so thier forum is not really the right place and is a very quiet backwater.

I've read that SL is virtually the same as CentOS, so would this be a suitable source of information on the problem ?

TIA, Centy.

Please send replies to this thread to viewtopic.php?f=15&t=48697&p=206863#p206863 which is more specific.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
