Hi, I'm trying to make livecd of CentOS5.
Are there any examples, like .ks files?
Thanks.

CentOS 5 is dead, why would you try to make a CD of it?

I want to rebuild all the packages and make it my own distribution out of it.
Because, CentOS5 is dead already, I don't have to worry about updating packages except I myself do it.
After I rebuilt logo packages with my own, I want to distribute just for my pleasure and livecd will be the best fit.
That's why I try to find .ks examples. I found some link, but all of them are linked to git page and although I could use livecd-creator command, it fails and wondering where I stumbled.

Yes, it's dead. That means there will be no more updates for it. So next time there is a serious security vulnerability, it will never get patched and your system will be permanently at risk.

Don't do it. It's a silly idea.

Thank you for your advice, TrevorH.
I haven't much thought on security.
I will move to CentOS6 livecd thing, then.
Thanks!

how about centos7? :D the livecd is already provided

if you wanted to do a centos5 livecd you'd have to write it from scratch, your own initrd and additional squashed image and pivot on your /dev/whatevX mount proc and such

but as trevor said, then you'd have a BRAND NEW obsolete unsupported somewhat bugged system :D
