can someone help me install dnscrypt on centos 5?

obviously the centos 5 were to old operation system, but at this moment i have this server unused
im considering to install internet filter bypass maybe using dnscrypt

But most of the tutorial i found in internet doesn't give any detail step or they using latest version of centos during post/article writing

can somebody help me?

If the server is unused then reformat it and install something supported on it. CentOS 5 is dead. It fell out of support in March 2017 and has received no maintenance since. This means that among other things, it's vulnerable to meltdown/spectre and everything else that's been exposed in the last 9 months.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.

Hi trevor

well thats the problem, i do actually want this server to be upgraded but the server admin doesn't wanna do that

The server is not a public one, at this moment the admin allow me to used this as my learning box..but yeah, it really suck even when using yum ,the repo are mostly were gone

Well, since the "Meltdown" vulnerability will never get fixed on CentOS 5, it's considerably more public than it used to be!

the spectre is a new one right trevor? i read that on reddit
