Not enough information to allow much help. By "VM Workstation" do you mean "VMware Workstation"?

If so, is CentOS 4.7 the guest OS? What type of network have you set up - NAT or Bridged? What is a "cabal private server" (apparently a game server?) and what network does it need to work for?

You say "my ipconfig comand doesnt work" - seems to imply a Windows host OS. Is that correct? If so, you should be able to get the IP address from the network properties, although I'd be worried about why it didn't work, and it may not be relevant. For CentOS the command is "/sbin/ifconfig".

Please be more clear about what you need.

If the CentOS VMware guest OS is on a bridged adapter it should be able to get an address either via DHCP or (perhaps easier) by using a fixed IP address on the subnet where you want it to appear as a game server. A fixed IP address needs to be reserved by the DHCP server - obviously (or perhaps not) on the same network to which the virtual NIC is bridged. Still not enough information as you seem to have 2 physical NICs, but being neither highly conversant in Windows-speak nor in the language of the ipconfig output, can't be sure.

Quoting myself :-) :

Once you have a working IP address for the CentOS guest/server, it should act just like a physical host, with the possible exception of Windows firewall issues - can't help you there.
