Linux ABI Project does CentOS already have patch

Post by isru2 » 2010/03/30 21:07:31

I have just installed CentOS 4.8 Final and need to know if it already has build in support for the Linux ABI Project. I really do not want to try to build a new kernel if it is already build in to the os. I have a program that is for sco unix I need to run and but it does nothing not even an error message. Thanks Dave

Welcome to the CentOS fora. The following reading is recommended for new users:

A link to the Linux ABI Project would have been a nice thing to provide. As they supply patches only for 2.4 series kernels there is virtually no chance of it working on CentOS-4 or later. Perhaps you could install SCO Unix under virtualization. Found that some have had success with VirtualBox:
