Problem with Accusys Raid - detecting wrong size HDD

Post by bennerg » 2005/03/29 03:27:24

Hello all,

Have just downloaded Centos 4, and found that during installation it does not correctly detect my Accusys ACS-7500 Raid Kit (contains two Seagate Barracuda 120G drives).

The system seems to think that the Accusys (which is meant to look like a single HDD - and OS independent) is a 600G drive (in my dreams).

The system BIOS correctly identifies it as a "120G" drive, as does Windows install. I tried Fedora Core 3 install and it also has the same problem.

Any ideas of how to work around this one. No help from Accusys at this stage.

regards

Gary
