Athlon Kernel Support

Post by kbocek » 2005/05/30 16:00:56

I see i586 and i686 kernels in the CentOS4 i386 distribution but no athlon kernels. What is the status of support for classic (non-64-bit) athlon CPUs? Has it been wrapped into the i686 kernel?

Hi guys

Is the opteron dual core supported as well yet ?
was thinking of building a monster dual opteron box with dual core which would make it to a 4 core bulldozer :)
