Pentium4 Extreme Edition: i386 or x86_64?
I'm attempting to install CentOS 3.3 on a Supermicro 5013C-M8 with a 2.8GHz Pentium4 Extreme Edition and am having major difficulties with the software-RAID (connecting to the motherboard's built-in Adaptect AIC-7902 SCSI controller) and think that maybe I'm using the wrong installation medium. Should I be using the i386, ia64, or the x86_64 .iso's to install CentOS on this server?

Despite what DevX.com has to say about the Extreme Edition, I suppose that the i386 distribution is the correct distribution for the Pentium 4 Extreme Edition: When I attempt to use the x86_64 distribution I receive an error message - "Your CPU does not support long mode. Use a 32bit distribution."
