Controlling how USB drives are mounted

Hi,

I back up to two different USB drives using rsnapshot, a great rsync based backup script. When I plug in the first drive it appears as /media/usbdrive, and when I plug in the second one it appears as /media/usbdrive1. If I unplug the second one and plug it back in it becomes /media/usbdrive2. I need the drives to to mounted to a static path, such as /media/local-backup and /media/offsite-backup, but I can't figure out where to do this.

I've been googling for days, with no leads - so I hope someone here can give me a hint.
