Can't get internet to work

Post by Meisam » 2007/09/01 04:50:16

Hi,

I just installed a fresh copy of CentOS 4.5 on a server. I have tried everything including the suggestions on the posts on this forum but i cant get this thing to work.

I have a static IP assigned to me by my ISP. It was working on my old server running FC4. I am planning to remove the server and use this one now. The problem is that it does not want to connect to the internet for some reason. I have ran the setup multiple times with no avail. Please have a look at my configuration below and help me.

[code][root@centos ~]# ifconfig

Here is the information given to me by my ISP:

I thank you in advance for all your help.

What you've tried?

can you ping your gateway, DNS?

Run wireshark to capture and analyze your traffic.

Do you have any sort of MAC auth in place? Router? firewall?
