Installed VNC on centOS 4, need help for user login screens

Post by vikram8jp » 2008/10/15 04:35:52

Hello all

I just started my stint with Linux in CentOS 4. I have to setup a VNC server on a machine. I read the CentOS Wiki and I successfully setup the VNC server and am using TightVNC to access VNC accounts on client machines.

Right now I am using "dedicated" way to setup vnc server per-user via the /etc/sysconfig/vncservers.
"login screen" openish vi the vnc-ltsp-config is the one I want to use. In the wiki/HowTos/VNC-Server I read about that.
# yum install xinetd vnc-ltsp-config
# chkconfig xinetd on
# chkconfig vncts on
# service xinetd restart
On entering the first command it does something like this....
# yum install xinetd vnc-ltsp-config
No Match for argument: vnc-ltsp-config
Nothing to do
So I tried to download the package vnc-ltsp-config, vnc-ltsp-config-4.0.3.e14.src.rpm. It displays following message:
# yum install vnc-ltsp-config-4.0-3.el4.src.rpm]
Downloading Packages:
warning: rpmts_HdrFromFdno: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 217521f6

Public key for vnc-ltsp-config-4.0-3.el4.src.rpm is not installed
That's where I have a problem. But I don't know how to fix it. What does it mean?

Thanks for any help.
Vik
