ssh problem

Post by theghass » 2010/04/27 21:51:24

Hello
I purchased a used server running centos 4. I cant ssh my box from outside the network. It is giving Network error, connection timed out. On the other hand, I can access ssh through another server on the same network. I stopped iptables, deleted all firewall rules through webmin, restarted the server and still same problem. Any help on that !

Welcome to the CentOS fora. The following reading is recommended for new users:

Not much to go on - perhaps a router or external firewall problem. Does the system have a public IP address? Please show "./getinfo.sh network" using the script from the 4th link above.
