Error using authconfig / setting up LDAP

Post by jmerry01 » 2007/12/03 21:10:04

I'm trying to set up CentOS to use LDAP authentication. When I attempt to use the 'authconfig' command, I get a funky message about 'chkconfig'. Here's my output:

[root@mymachine jmerry]# authconfig --enableldap --enableldapauth --ldapserver=ldap.mycompany.com --ldapbasedn="o=mycompany" --enablelocauthorize --updateall
chkconfig version 1.3.29 - Copyright (C) 1997-2000 Red Hat, Inc.
This may be freely redistributed under the terms of the GNU Public License.

usage: chkconfig --list [name]
chkconfig --add
chkconfig --del
chkconfig [--level ]
[root@mymachine jmerry]#

Why on earth would I get that message? The command works just fine on my RHEL4 boxes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
