Default to 443 after mod_ssl installed

Post by haalaaluu » 2006/09/19 18:51:30

Hi,

I yum install mod_ssl on centos 4.4. It went fine and i can reach https://mysite.com but i could not reach normal port 80 http://mysite.com.

How to do to access both 80 and 443 in virtual host container? Do i need to use ifmodule tag to trick the httpd.conf??

Thanks

Make sure that you have following 2 things in your httpd.conf :-

Listen 80
Listen 443

NameVirtualHost xx.xx.xx.xx:80

# xx.xx.xx.xx = server ip address.

Also make sure that the port 80 is open in firewall if you have any firewall actively running on the server.
