I have several dual-core dual processor Opteron systems running Centos 4.4. Under heavy load we occasionally will see what appears to be the TLB Flush Filter bug in the processors--at least we see occasional unexplainable crashes. We also see the powernow-k8 synchronization bug. Both have been fixed in the most recent kernels. What is the recommended solution for working around these problems? An obvious fix would be to move to the vanilla 220.127.116.11 kernel. I've looked around and have not seen anything in the various repositories which address these issues. Anyone using mid- to high-end x86_64 opeteron servers must be having a similar experience.
