weird issue with iptables and nfs on x86_64

Post by eztarg3t » 2007/02/07 16:47:19

Greetings! I have 2 machines installed, one is centos4 for i386 and the other centos4 x86_64. Both mount an nfs file server. I have an identical iptables script on each. Everything works fine on the i386 machine, the nfs mounts are made, my iptables script runs, and everything is fine. On the x86_64 machine, nfs mounts are made, and when iptables script runs, the machine becomes completely unresponsive. Now, if I run the iptables script FIRST, and then mount the nfs mounts, everything works fine. Can anyone shed any light on this?
