Just installed CentOS 4.4 and Oracle 10gR2 (new test environment for DB development).
Tried to use DBCA to clone clone production DB. DBCA generated correct template, but it was unable to create DB, throwing 'end-of-file communication channel'. OS almost hung.
I rebooted the server and found these messages in /var/log/messages
centos kernel: hda: no DRQ after issuing WRITE
centos kernel: mtrr: no more MTRRs available
is this related to DBCA, or I should ask another forum?
