Forum Issue

Hi all,

I am new around here before I proceed to other forums I would like to suggest the following about this forum board itself.

1. Any topic or forum that I open results in a Opening page centos.org/modules/newbb/ ... (300 items remaining)
the items remaining varies from 30 to 300. This is scary.
Do i have to wait for so many items in order to move from page to page?
I use ie 5.5 win 2k.
Time of day : 11 pm (UTC+5:30)

2. I always browse the internet after switching off the pictures (to conserve bandwidth, I spend 10 hrs or more a day on the net) and I had a time finding the post new topic button.

3. There seems to be no forum for newbie questions. Maybe newbies are not welcome here?

I need the full kernel source tree, and when run the following command: yum install rpm-build
appear:
setiing up install process
setting up repositories
cannot find a valid baseurl for repo:update
Error:cannot find a valid baseurl for repo:date

I have the kernel version 2.6.9-34.EL and yum version 2.4.2

How can I run this command?
