Why do I get a certificate problem alert when accessing this

Post by pstein » 2008/12/09 18:55:30

When I try to access these CentOS forums I always get an alert webpage at first about a wrong certificate (see attached snapshot).

Why?

I never got such an alert before.

I am using Firefox or IntExp from WinXP

Please go to www.centos.org and find a section entitled "Regarding the cacert.org Root SSL certificate" on the right-hand side column. The info is there for you.

The answer is here, on the right-hand side near the bottom, in the box with the heading Regarding the cacert.org Root SSL certificate.

Please try to look for the answers to your mundane questions first, rather than posting a query and expecting a reply. :-x
