Post by kapetr » 2010/01/29 10:33:56

Hello,

I should by notified on new posts, but these notifications do goes to "private messages" and not to my e-mail.

Also I have to check my user account on this forum, to see if new posts are there.

But I whish to be e-mailed.

What is wrong ? How to do this ?

Nothing is wrong. Look at the bottom of the page. You should see something like
Notification method is: private message [Change]
You either need to get in the habit of checking your private messages under "User Menu" on the bar at the top of the page, or change the notification method to email - which seems to be the anticipated default, but not the actual one.

Thank You very much !

I don't know why, but my default setting was "Notif. method: private messages."
I change it now :-)

That is the system default for all newly created accounts. ;-)

It is up to each individual user to change it, as appropriate.
