[RESOLVED] Login Issue

Post by taylorkh » 2012/09/17 15:35:25

For the past few days when I attempt to login I enter my credentials and am then am taken to this page

https://www.centos.org/user.php

and I never get any further. Eventually the browser (Firefox on CentOS 6.2) will time out. "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading." It appears that I am getting logged in as I opened centos.org in another tab, navigated to this forum and was able to post this message.

Is there a known site issue?

TIA,

Ken

Well... the forums have come under sustained attack a few times recently by spam bots and they can slow things right down to a crawl. Perhaps the OP was affected by one of those times.

Thanks for the replies. Whatever it was it seems to have passed. I can successfully login now and proceed with business.

Thanks,

Ken

'Tis true regarding spam bots. Though essentially they achieve nothing.

On your behalf, this thread is now marked [RESOLVED].
