Ghost reply to thread

Post by SteveC » 2013/11/05 21:39:28

When I look at the CentOS 6 - General Support forum index, my post "sudo segfaults for domain user, fails pam_authenticate check on local user" indicates that there has been one reply. When I click on the thread to see the (hopefully helpful in resolving this pernicious issue) reply, I see "2 posts • Page 1 of 1" in the upper right corner, just above my post. Yet, when I scroll to the bottom of the page, there's nothing aside from my post displayed.

Am I reading things incorrectly? I was wondering if this might be related to a moderated-away spam post, as is discussed in this thread, and if so, wanted to note that the reply and post counts should probably be decremented (hopefully automagically) when a reply is removed; but if not, ask if someone might be able to explain what is happening. Thanks!

Was the original post made pre or post the forum migration?

Edit: checked and this post was migrated over so that may have something to do with it too.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

Thanks, Trevor - yes, the thread did start pre-migration. That tidbit didn't occur to me to include.

Frankly I'm probably not going to put too much effort into investigating it. The fact that we got (most of) the old content across in more or less one piece seems to be pretty much a miracle so I'm happy that it made it across at all ;-)

That seems completely reasonable to me. If you want to flag this one [Solved], I'm fine with that. :)
