Centos 7 login username and password

Hello

I have just newly installed the Centos 7 ISO as a VM

Can anyone tell the username and password I have tried root and root but this did not work

When you install CentOS, the installer will prompt you for the root user's password. Whatever you enter will be used. There is no default password for the root user.

The VMWare "Easy install" may well create a user - just as it creates a /boot partition that's massively too small! If you used this then now might be the time to cut your losses and reinstall without the "Easy" install and get it right.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
