Im trying to install CentOS 7 using the DVD on ESXi 6.0 and it will not boot. It seems not to find a boot method for the DVD.
Why?

Did you check your downloaded iso file checksum against the published ones on the mirrors to make sure it is correctly downloaded.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

I mounted it from my client PC instead of the datastore (and same ISO with the same checksum) and it booted. Installation was VERY slow because of this...
