Scaling in CentOS

Post by solo85 » 2017/06/27 03:23:15

Hi.

I have a a screen resolution of 1920x1080.
On my Windows computer I use something called scaling.
So I set scaling to 150 %, and everything is 150 % larger.

Can this be done in CentOS also?

What display manager are you using ? If you use the default settings -it's GNOME.

I believe scaling is done by the GTK3 library, on which Gnome depends.

Find out what GTK3 version you are running, and then search whether (or how well) it supports scaling (feeling too lazy now to do it myself).

Thanks for the answer.

I can see inside my /usr/lib64 that I have both gtk-2.0 and gtk-3.0.

I just installed CentOS a few days back, so I am kind of new to it ;)
