CentOS 7 - Unable to find the scsi-target RPM

Post by CentosServer » 2014/07/13 22:47:23

I am unable to find the scsi-target RPM package in CentOS 7?

I was wondering if it is an EPEL package ? I found someone looking for Fail2Ban, and the thread contained this statement "EPEL is still in the process of being populated".

I checked out https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/EPEL, however it is indicating that EPEL 7 is still in beta (am I reading this correctly ?).
Alternately, you can browse the package set using repoview:
EPEL 7 beta: x86_64, ppc64, sources
EPEL 6: i386, x86_64, ppc64, sources
EPEL 5: i386, x86_64, ppc, sources

scsi-target-utils-gluster - Support for the Gluster backstore to scsi-target-utils

Source RPM : scsi-target-utils-0.9.1-1.src.rpm

Yes, it now appears to be an EPEL Package and not one included in CentOS base/updates. I checked and it already appears in the epel-beta repo.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
