am trying to install a package which has a dependency on 'vconfig' but I cannot find it anywhere for CentOS 7. It existed from 6.X downwards so could it be that its not been ported yet or completed dropped ? Thanks.

In the deprecated packages section it lists vconfig as being replaced by the ip command

The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
