All of the tools which I have become accustomed to in Fedora/Redhat seems to be missing.
A simple task suck as formatting a drive is now an impenetrable roadblock which stands in between me and getting work done.

fdisk/parted and mkfs just as it always has been.

Easiest way to manage HDDs/Partitioning that know offt, is to use Gparted.
