sorry for all the confusion and misunderstanding,
i went through the page and tried installing ntfs-3g, but this is what i get...

[root@localhost ~]# yum install fuse fuse-ntfs-3g

I said ntfs-3g not fuse-ntfs-3g.
It is available from epel as described in the wiki link I gave you earlier.
Make sure to install the C7 epel repo, not the C6 repo.
