I would like to have VNC Server running on Centos 7, and connect with a MAX OS X Yosemite client. I have been following some examples around the net, but can't reliably get anything to work. Note: worth mentioning is I can't be at the Centos server console to execute any commands (x11vnc), this has to work remotely. I also need performance, so any recommendations there would help. I read somewhere that an X session can remain open when you disconnect, and when you reconnect it puts you back on the same desktop where you left off, can someone recommend how to do this also ?
