X Windows documentation

Hello,

I am having trouble locating docs for the X Windows system for CentOS/RHEL 7.1
For version 6 there is an Appendix C 'The X Windows System' in the Deployment Guide.
However, this is not present in version 7 and I cannot find it anywhere else.
1) Anyone know if it resides somewhere else ?
2) If not, any thoughts about using the version 6 docs ? Has they changed much ? ( I want to write an xorg.conf for a monitor that's not working well under auto detection)
