boot fails after respinning centos liveusb to upgrade to Centos 7.3

Post by trombone9807 » 2016/12/17 22:58:10

I just completed a respin of CentOS 7.2 liveusb to incorporate the new packages from 7.3. Boot of the new liveusb begins normally but fails close to the end with the last message a variation of the following:

[19.######] traps: gdm[####] general protection ip:xxxxxxxxxxxx sp:xxxxxxxxxxxx error:0 in gdm[xxxxxxxxxxxx+#####]

I have tried the 7.3 respin on four different computers and none of them boot (they all boot 7.2)

I have made no changes in my kickstart file since the last time I made a respin of 7.2 at the end of November 2016 to incorporate the latest updated packages available at that time. That respin booted normally and is the one I am using now.

Any thoughts?
