What to setup a email server in Centos 7, what is your suggestion?

Post by craigliu » 2017/05/19 18:05:39

I want to setup a mail server on CentOS 7 for our company (less than 100 email accounts). What are your suggestions or recommendations for software selections including mail server, databases, spam protection, webmail etc.

Is it possible to save all incoming/outgoing emails no matter whether email owners delete them or not?

Any inputs are welcome.

I'm recommending NethServer for you if you are
- using it only for mailing
- not so familiar with linux systems at all
- don't want to mess around for hours and hours to make a perfect system

NethServer is a CentOS based OTB (Out-of-The-Box) server which has the power to do many things. Among MailServer, you can use it as
- LDAP (or AD) server
- Firewall
- DHCP-DNS server
- Log analyzer
- Radius server
- KVM server
- etc....

I know it is not straight CentOS, but the base is and in my oppinion it is better working than ClearOS, the other OTB server based on CentOS. It isn't looking that good, but works better. ;)
