Difference in /etc/group file in version 6, 7

Hello,I have a question.
When I installed cent OS 6, 7 default version, there was a difference in /etc/group

cent OS 6 /etc/passwd
root:x:0:root
bin:x:1:root,bin,daemon
daemon:x:2:root,bin,daemon

Code: Select all

cent OS 7 /etc/passwd
root:x:0:
bin:x:1:
daemon:x:2:

Why is there a difference between the two versions?
Is it because of security?
