vblade alternative for EL7

I'm interested in testing AoE for an application I'm studying. I see from the following "step" in some instructions I found on-line for enabling AoE that AoE is enabled in my CentOS 7 (and 6) systems.

[afalanga@host01 ~]$ grep ATA_OVER /boot/config-`uname -r`
CONFIG_ATA_OVER_ETH=m

However, all of the instructions I've found for using AoE in Linux thus far show the use of vbladed for the exported "file system." Since it doesn't seem to be available from the RPM repositories, to include EPEL, is there some other daemon that is expected for use with AoE in RHEL?
