How do I enable right click mouse to paste copy_on_selection?

Post by mdivk » 2017/09/19 01:03:33

I have a VMware installed on my home computer, with CentOS Linux release 7.3.1611 (Core), I can select text and the selection is in cache, but I am not able to click right mouse to paste it.

What's the setting I can tweak? I have no problem doing this at work.

Thanks.

The default paste mouse button is the middle one not the right one.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.

The right click - "paste" is default for putty, but this is configurable even there. I prefer the middle click.
