Hey guys,
I want to move over CentOS and use the docker support for my NAS.
Im currently running FreeNAS on my NAS but I want something reliable(had tons of problems with FreeNAS).
Currently I have a main pool where all my Media is stored. This pool is setuped via ZFS.
So my question is can I migrate that in CentOS? The better question is CentOS supporting ZFS?
PS: Sorry for that offtopic question :>

Re: [Newbie] Is CentOS supporting ZFS?
Apparently yes you can ,it does support zfs:
Does centOS support ZFS ?

Re: [Newbie] Is CentOS supporting ZFS?
More properly, CentOS (and Linux at large) does not support ZFS, but ZFS supports Linux (and CentOS) somewhat.
Re: [Newbie] Is CentOS supporting ZFS?
You can: I'm using ZFS+snapshot for backup purposes.
I used this to install modules: https://github.com/zfsonlinux/zfs/wiki/RHEL-%26-CentOS
It seems a bit slow - it may be the setup, my ignorance, or maybe it's just slower.

No.The better question is CentOS supporting ZFS?
There is a ZFS on Linux project that allows you to install it. If you do and it breaks then you get to keep all the pieces.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
