Bootup error with Logitech receiver

I am always getting a boot error coming from my USB Logitech unifying receiver. Here is the message on the boot screen

logitech-djreceiver 0003:046D:C52B.0003: logi_dj_raw_event: invalid device index:0

The boot process stops proceeding intermittently, then I keep resetting until it boots correctly. Even when it boots correctly the error still exists.

Is there a solution for this issue?
